Readiris 22 converts scans, photographed pages and existing PDFs into editable, searchable documents. Recognition covers 138 languages, handles multi-column layouts, tables and mixed scripts, and rebuilds the result as DOCX, XLSX, ODT, searchable PDF or plain text according to the chosen output profile.

Beyond conversion it acts as a light PDF workbench: split, merge, rotate and compress pages, apply one-click recognition to folders, or drive a scanner directly through the built-in acquisition dialog. The scanning profiles remember duplex settings and paper size, which makes repeat digitisation jobs a two-click affair. Ships pre-activated with the full language set installed.

How to install

1. Unpack the archive with 7-Zip or WinRAR
2. Run the installer as Administrator
3. Select the recognition languages you need during setup
4. Launch Readiris and confirm the licence in Help > About
5. Create a scanning profile for your default device
