OmniPage Ultimate targets high-volume digitisation where accuracy and repeatability matter. Its recognition engine reads mixed fonts, degraded scans and low-contrast copies with strong table handling, and the proofing view pairs the original image with recognised text so corrections are made while the source is still visible.

Templates and zones let a workflow describe exactly where text, tables and images sit on a standard form, and those zones are reused across thousands of pages. Batch workflows chain scanning, recognition, quality checking and export to PDF, DOCX or XML, and the Ultimate edition adds PDF editing, redaction and the OCR server-style folder monitor. Installs offline as a pre-activated package.
