Final Draft 13 formats script elements as they are typed: scene headings, action, character, dialogue and transitions are recognised from context, and the Enter key moves the cursor to the element that normally follows. Templates cover feature and television formats, stage plays and graphic novels, with pagination that matches the layout expected in production drafts and locked scene numbers for revisions.

Planning tools sit alongside the script. The Beat Board arranges story beats on a canvas, the Outline Editor keeps a structured summary that syncs with the pages, and ScriptNotes carry comments that can be listed and printed as reports. Revision mode marks changed passages with colour-coded pages, and scripts can be exchanged in FDX, PDF or plain-text form. This package installs offline as a pre-activated build.

How to install

1. Unpack the archive with 7-Zip or WinRAR
2. Run the installer as Administrator
3. Choose a destination and set file associations during setup
4. Launch Final Draft and confirm the licence in Help > About
5. Open a script template and adjust the default element style
