Fences groups desktop icons into labelled, resizable containers arranged by project, file type or any rule you define, and new files drop into the correct fence automatically. The Peek toggle rolls every fence into a compact titled bar, while folder portals mirror a real directory so its contents stay in sync.

Layouts, rules and portals are stored in a local profile and the licence is applied offline. Desktop snapshots capture the entire arrangement, which makes it easy to recover after a resolution change or a monitor swap.

How to install

1. Unpack the archive with 7-Zip
2. Run the installer as Administrator
3. Launch Fences and confirm the licence dialog
4. Right-click the desktop and create the first fence
5. Enable automatic sorting rules if you want them
