DeepL Pro translates text and complete documents, keeping the layout of DOCX, PPTX, XLSX and PDF files intact while the wording underneath is replaced. Glossaries pin project terminology so names, product terms and abbreviations come back consistently, and alternative phrasings are offered for individual segments when a sentence needs to be shaped rather than simply converted.

The desktop client assigns a system-wide hotkey so text selected in another application can be translated in a floating window without switching tools. Style and formality options apply where the target language distinguishes registers, and the package includes the API endpoints for scripted translation workflows. Translation itself is performed in the cloud, so the client needs an internet connection; the Pro tier is enabled in this build.

How to install

1. Unpack the archive with 7-Zip or WinRAR
2. Run the installer as Administrator
3. Choose a custom path and complete the setup
4. Launch DeepL and set the default source and target languages
5. Assign the translation hotkey in Preferences
