Deep Freeze Standard locks a Windows workstation to its frozen state: users work normally, but every change is discarded on restart. It is common in classrooms, labs and public kiosks where the same environment is needed every day.
Administrators manage the state from a password-protected console, define thaw spaces for persistent user data and open maintenance windows when updates have to be installed and kept. The pre-activated build installs silently and supports workgroup and domain deployments.
