Why the frame rate cap exists

The default cap keeps the client predictable across a huge range of hardware, from integrated graphics in a laptop to a desktop with a high-refresh monitor. Predictable is not the same as fast, and above 144 Hz the difference is easy to feel in camera movement and input response.

What the unlocker changes

• Lifts the client frame rate cap to a value you choose.
• Can set a hard upper limit, so a weak GPU is not asked for frames it cannot produce.
• Runs before the client starts, which is why launch order matters.
• Leaves graphics quality alone. Those settings stay in the Roblox menu.

Setting it up

1. Close Roblox and confirm no client process is still running.

If the client will not launch

• Launch Roblox normally once, close it, then try through the unlocker again.
• Check that the client has finished updating. The unlocker cannot patch a half-updated install.
• Reboot rather than fighting a stuck process.
• If it still fails after a Roblox update, wait for the unlocker's own update. That order is normal.

Does it change gameplay

No. Higher frame rates do not grant abilities, and nobody can see your frame counter. What changes is how the game feels: smoother camera, tighter input, and fewer moments where you cannot tell whether you mistimed something or the client simply rendered late.
