Before you start
Close every browser tab that has a Creative Cloud page open and disable any third-party antivirus for the duration of the install. Windows Defender alone is fine — it does not interfere with the installer, only with some older builds.
Step-by-step install
- Unpack the archive into a folder with at least 12 GB of free space (7-Zip or WinRAR).
- Right-click Set-up.exe and choose Run as administrator.
- If SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher, click More info then Run anyway.
- Wait for the progress bar to finish — typically 8 to 15 minutes depending on disk speed.
