How to Download and Set Up the GTA V Mod Menu (Single-Player)

A 120 MB single-player menu for Legacy and Enhanced: clean install, key setup, the controls that matter and the rules that keep your install stable.

The GTA V Mod Menu is a 120 MB tool in the Cheats & Tools section of the catalog. It attaches to the single-player game and adds a vehicle spawner, an environment editor, teleport presets and a cinematic camera toolkit, all driven from an in-game overlay. The version in the catalog supports both the Legacy and the Enhanced editions of GTA V.

Ground rules before you install anything

• Single-player only. Never attach it to an online session; the account consequences are permanent and there is no appeal.
• Disconnect or stay in Story Mode while the menu is loaded. This copy of the game is meant to be played offline.
• Back up your save folder under the user profile before the first load. A menu that edits the world can write values a save does not recover from.
• Scan the archive, then add the menu folder to your antivirus exclusions. Loaders are routinely flagged by heuristic scanners, and a quarantine in the middle of a session is the usual cause of 'it stopped working'.
• Keep a second copy of the clean game folder if you have the disk space. Restoring it takes minutes and saves a full re-unpack.

Download and install

1. Open the GTA V Mod Menu item page from the Cheats & Tools section and download the archive.
2. Unpack it with 7-Zip or WinRAR into its own folder outside the game directory, for example D:\Mods\GTAVMenu.
3. Install the current Visual C++ redistributables if the loader refuses to start. Most launch failures are a missing runtime.
4. Start GTA V in Story Mode and load into the world before running the menu loader.
5. Run the loader as administrator, enter the key supplied with your download, and let it detect the game process.
6. Wait for the confirmation message that appears in-game. If it never appears, close both the game and the loader and repeat the order.

Using the menu

• Open and close the overlay with the default hotkey, then rebind it in the settings if it clashes with another overlay you use.
• Vehicle spawner: type or browse for a model, spawn it, then use the repair and upgrade options to avoid a trip to Los Santos Customs.
• World editor: time of day, weather and traffic density are the three settings that change screenshots the most.
• Teleport presets: useful for reaching map locations quickly for a photo or a stunt setup, less useful for playing missions.
• Photo tools: freeze time, hide the HUD and set a camera position, which is how the screenshots in most galleries are made.

When it stops working

If the overlay never opens, check that the loader and the game are running with the same privileges, that no other overlay is injecting into the process, and that your antivirus did not quietly quarantine the loader file. A game patch will break the menu until the loader is updated, so keep the game from updating automatically if you intend to stay on this build. DirectX or display-mode changes that force the game to restart also detach the menu until you reload it.
