The first hour decides how pleasant the rest of the run is, because the early build order determines how much of the resource grinding you never have to do by hand.

Requirements and disk space

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, with 16 GB of RAM.
• A GPU with 4 GB of VRAM for 1080p at medium to high settings.
• About 80 GB free during unpacking, and an SSD. Base building writes frequently, and a mechanical drive makes every placement stutter.

6. Set up a berry plantation and a feed box before you explore further. A fed base keeps producing while you are away.
7. Only after that, head to the first tower boss. Arriving with no gear and no Pals is the standard first-run mistake.

Performance and stability

A large base with dozens of Pals is the main frame rate killer. Keep the active Pal count reasonable, spread production across two smaller bases rather than one enormous one, and lower shadow quality before touching texture quality. If the game crashes during a raid, verify the install is on an SSD and that no overlay is injecting into the process. This is a single-player build, so plan your run solo and keep the save backed up between major updates.
