How to get the training range, demo analyzer and config manager running — plus what to do when Valve ships an update.
CS2 Helper Suite bundles three tools: an aim trainer, a demo analyzer with heatmaps, and a config manager. This short guide covers setup and the one thing that matters most — staying up to date after game patches.
Setup
- Unpack the archive somewhere outside your game folder.
- Run the loader as Administrator and log in with the key included in your download.
- Point the demo analyzer at your CS2 replays folder (usually under Steam/userdata).
- Import your config or start a fresh profile in the config manager.
Patch days
After a major CS2 update, close the suite and check the dashboard for a new loader build. The interface shows a compatibility banner when a game update breaks anything — wait for the update rather than forcing it, since old loaders are the main source of crashes.
Keeping an eye on performance
The overlay costs roughly 1-3% FPS on a mid-range GPU. If you play on a low-end machine, disable the heatmap overlay during matches and open it only in the review mode.
