CoinTracking is one of the earliest crypto accounting services and still one of the broadest. It accepts imports from a long list of exchanges and wallets, keeps a complete transaction ledger, and produces tax reports based on the rules of the selected country.

Beyond tax documents, the application offers portfolio tracking, realised and unrealised gains, balance sheets, and audit reports for business users. Data can be entered by hand, loaded from files, or synchronised through read-only API keys, and every ledger entry stays editable when an import needs correcting.

How to install

3. Import the full transaction history
4. Check the ledger for duplicates or gaps
